About Us

Lead Principal - Jacqualene Maindonald

Kia ora koutou.

I have been principal of Māngere Central School since 2017 and am the proud new leader of our Māngere Kahui Ako.

I have enjoyed building better relationships with our local schools and working with them to raise the achievement of our students. Our schools are very diverse but we have a common goal of working collaboratively for the benefit of our students.

This is my first year as an ASL. I am currently teaching at Al-Madinah school.

I am passionate about leading professional learning after doing my papers at the University of Auckland - Masters in Educational Leadership (2 papers away!).
